1. Download Home Directory Backup
Step 1: Log in to cPanel
Access cPanel from the ReadySpace Client Area.
Step 2: Open Backup
- Search for Backup
- Click Backup
Step 3: Download Home Directory Backup
Under Partial Backups:
- Click Download a Home Directory Backup
The backup file will download directly to your local computer.
This backup includes:
- Website files (public_html)
- Email data (mail folders)
- FTP account files/configuration
- Files and folders under the cPanel home directory
This backup does not include:
- MySQL databases
To back up databases, please follow the steps below.
2. Download Database Backup
Under Download a Database Backup:
- Click the database name listed
The database backup file (.sql.gz) will download directly to your local computer.
Repeat for each database if multiple databases are available.
3. Download Email Forwarders
Under Download Email Forwarders:
- Click the domain name listed
The file will download directly to your local computer.
4. Download Email Filters
Under Download Email Filters:
- Click the listed filter file
The file will download directly to your local computer.
